Incoming links are far more important than on site SEO. Don’t let the “gurus” lie to you. The more RELEVANT incoming links you get, the better you are going to rank for the keywords you want to rank well for. Period. Go out and establish relationships with people who SHARE your passion, comment on their blogs, offer to guest post where relevant, and focus on crafting killer content that other people will love. 80% + of the battle, or more – and don’t forget it!
2 – Keywords Count
Use highly targeted keyword titles. Really. It’s super important and WILL make a huge difference in your SEO. If you want to be super diligent about using your keywords intelligently in your posts? Emphasize your keywords in the body using the h2 or h3 tags, or call attention them otherwise using bold or italicized text. Search engines seem to like this – and so too will your readers.
3 – OFF Site Content Counts Too
This means article directories. Press release directories. Hub and social sites. And OTHER blogs that you own to manufacture incoming links, authority and “juice” to your primary money site.
